The original Numinu Template has Gone LONG enough and there is NO way in the world to keep up with this nor is anyone going to read all fifty + pages to find their issues.
MG (grumblemarc) was to start a new thread but as of yet I have not seen it.

With the new version coming out by next Monday I think it appropriate to start this now.
I vote to call the new version Numinu-Rejuvenated considering much of the work is being done by rejuvinet. I think it has a Very nice ring to it as well as appropriate for the work as well as the worker.

Awww, shucks - thanks. I just hope I can get out my front door now with this swelled ego. LOL

I'm planning on having a version done and uploaded over the weekend - latest Monday as mentioned by Hazzaa - that will be pretty much like the version currently used on my site. I am also going to be putting in some extra time to make sure the forum.css file is "better commented" as it can get confusing after a while trying to sort out what sections manage certain areas of the forum (for example, there are two different "show categories" sections, each with a different purpose)...

So - with that said, it's hoped that the "beta" version will not only address the various issues that have arisen in 50-plus pages, but it will be easier to modify and manipulate right from the start so that it can fit in with ANY template color, layout, or scheme.

Oh - I should also mention that this "beta" also has the latest jQuery files included as well, so that conflict with MooTools is an issue that will not be a factor anymore, right out of the gate. This should solve a lot of the problems for you RT and YooTheme users.

As a final thought, you may want two versions, one with the tables and another without. I personally prefer the tables but I'm sure after you do all the work to add them, someone (GRRR) will come along and say,

Ohhhhhhh - the PRESSURE!!! The PRESSURE!!! My brain hurts!!!! LOL

I'd started this thing with divs only, but it wound up being a VERY long exercise in futility (at the time) which is why I opted to table it for now. I *will* eventually get a tableless version done, but that's a "spare time" thing (something that I don't have very much of these days, unfortunately).

Maybe after I get the beta released someone will pick up the reins and do a tableless version, but it's doing wonders for the time being and I ain't gonna fix what ain't broke yet. LOL

I'm doing everything I can to make as many people happy with what I'm going to release - if people aren't, then THEY can take it up and finish it.

I gotta admit though - this is starting to become one heck of a layout for Fireboard, and there's a lot of people that deserve credit for where it's going (and I'm not talking about the contributions I've put into it). I hope people realize that when they start complaining about what the next release can or can't do.
