Hi men, I have just make some extensions for my fireboard, and I want to share it with you:

Well, I'm sorry for the the vietnamese language in my post, but I will explain what I have done in that post.

You see, in that post they have for slide:

1/ First slide, I have introduced forum now had music, and video (Youtube, mp3, wma,...)
2/ In the second slide, I post a help for slide and tab.
3/ Third slide, well, , when you open that slide, you can click on the image in that... and see its effect.
Yeh, you see,... it's lightbox!!! In my opinion, lightbox is the best way to replace "auto resize image". Do you think so?
4/ And finally, in the last slide, I introduce that my site has auto link, I meaned that, this is a free service of www.snap.com, you know, I think snap in forum is very convinence , because it can help your members to avoid weblink damage (it can help your members' computer from virus from harmful website) and, it can make your post very fast from Link Music, link picture (you can see how it do in my demo site...)

How to do that?
Well, Joomla + Fireboard (of course!) , the extension from sidehaker (with support for mambots in forum) + mambots( AllVideos Plugin, Tabs & Slides In Content Items, fboxbot, Snap - Link Preview,...), and some fix in language file, fb_bb.js.php, smile.class.php, view.php...

Well, I don't think it is a good idea, but I want to share that. Can you give me some comments?

I want a subscribe to thread instead of subscribe to post feature.

I offered to code it but wanted to future proof as best as I could - in other words store the data the way the devs here want it stored.

I can't seem to get a dev to answer me on it (via FB1.0.1 forum, or not on To-Do on JoomlaCode or PM), and I'm reluctant to take it forward and then have a group subscribed to only have to work on importing their subscriptions into a new data format in 1.0.2 or 1.1.0

I know nothing is future proof! I just want to make sure what I'd offer as an interim solution (my programming isn't perfect) could be used for a decent period in terms of data management if not the code...

My name is Viet, a Vietnamese user.

I am not a coder, but I have some experience in using Joomla and I am really interested in Fireboard.

Now I am a moderator of a board for Fireboard in www.joomlaviet.org, a biggest website for joomla users in Vietnam.

What I can do now?
1. I can help to translate FB language into Vietnamese. Now I have translated a part of FB language in Frontpage display as My web.
2. I also would like to propagate Fireboard application in Joomla for Vietnamese users.
3. I can test Joomla-mambot application for Fireboard.
