Welcome to the FB team!

As per your question: FB is GPL and has the same license as joomlaboard (logically)
The relation between FB and Best of joomla is that we did FB because we needed it and many people asked to release it, and we did it. So BOJ will host FB project and ensure that it will go on well, with your help of course.

Hi, would love to assist here, have already posted a mambot and artio joomsef hack for seo in the forums that solve issues that i had that others might, what i would like to see and am willing to help with is to increase the functionality of the board with subscriptions (paid / free) that have to be done as is the case in vbullitin, an increased ammount of forum membership levels, all controlled by the forum without having to modify joomla at any stage, Having worked with vbullitin, smf, jb, and a few others, and looking at the code at present, this should not take to much to implement,
Beyond that, well done and i am going to now try crash the forum if possible, Converted from Joomlaboard to fireboard, no hastles except that posts with links to old were not changed, to fix this i wrote the mambot to redirect them.

If you take a look at the codes in SVN, I'm already adding a basic grouping system. After that you can make paid subscriptions the way you want.

I have loaded the svn codes so far, but nothing on groups showing up admin or frontend, done the sql aswell.
aswell, the showprofile has been hardcoded to work only with clexis(mypms) if not loaded, errors out, line 137, 97, 98
once commented out, page works fine
