I think this is one of the best templates from ROCKETTEMPLATE.

Yes, thats what i thought. its the best, accessible and usable . but i think to suggest something:
the right section is to small to fit the content. IT should be with the Rule of thumb. It is noted especially when you increase the font site the menu items overflow.

You can scale & move it in the template's index.php

[code:1]
$template_width = "962"; // width in px
$sidebar_width = "250"; // width in px
$sidebar_side = "right"; // left | right
[/code:1]

The designer of this template is inspired to such a degree by apple.com that I think it is a daring maneuver to actually charge money for it.

Try comparing:
- The rounded corners on every element
- The searchbox (exact copy)
- The breadcrumbs (compare it to applestore)
- The mirror effect under the images (yeah, everyone does that nowadays, but still...)
- The rounded, bevel buttons
- The feature list with the icons on the first page. (compare to for instance the Keynote product page)

All in all there's just too many similarities in these designs for me to even consider rating it any higher than one star. Don't get me wrong, I love the apple design and HiveMind is definitely nice, but it's just too much of a ripoff.

- rounded corners are not owned by Apple
- rounded search box are not owned by Apple
- breadcrumbs, hmm i don't know i haven't seen much that kind.
- i dont know about what kind of mirror effect are you talking above but if you think about reflection thats another thing that is not owned by Apple.
- bevel buttons definitely are not owned by Apple, i have used them before "Steve and his mother"
- The feature list, i will not comment this because everyone knows...

In General i think that HiveMind Theme is inspired from Apple website but its only inspiration. The author has added also its imagination to added some great value to this theme. I like the Typo.

I am not saying there is a copyright infringement going on, just that the designer took alot of inspiration from Apple. As you point out: Apple does not own these things, but still: Apple did combine alot of these elements first, and so a combination of all these elements on a template really makes it look less original and more the work of a copycat.

Don't get me wrong, it's still really nice and easy on the eyes, but not very original in my opinion.

Considering the one thing you mention as being noteworthy and original, the typography, I'd say it is almost default RocketTheme, so nothing new there. The additional sIFR options just adds one extra way of messing things up completely if you ask me
