I'll start Arabizing FireBoard (en shaa' Allah). But since the file is 3401 lines (826 after removing empty lines), it will be quite an effort, so if we distribute it over 10 or 15 volanteers, it will finish quite soon (en shaa' Allah).

If you are good in English-Arabic translation, please help.

I will do lots of work myself and I will supervise the team (if you accept so), as I have good experience in booth IT and translation fields.

Let's start soon.

The workflow can be as follows:
1- Distribute the work over the team.
e.g.: AAA will handle lines (1-90), BBB will handle lines (91-150)...etc
2- Everyone will do his translation part and save it as a UTF-8 file called arabic.php
3- Whenever someone faces a difficult word or words, add this comment at the end of the line: //UNTRANSLATED
4- You can ask in the board here for translation of the difficult, or just leave it (with the comment) for quick lookup.
5- When you do the translation, just remove the comment.
6-Everyone should unit-test (i.e. do his own test on his own FireBoard installation) before submitting.
7-When someone finishes his work (or at least 90% of it) submit it here for review
8- The reviewers will send their corrections here (just the corrections, no file modification)
9- When the translation discussions are over, the file is well tested, we send it to FireBoard team for publishing.

Ok, now that's three of us, let's start in an organized way.

let's agree to translate around 70 lines a week for each of us. I.e. a total of 210 lines per week, this way we will finish in less than a month en shaa' Allah.

zaka handles lines 151-234
maxman handles lines 237-312

We'll meet together within a week from today en shaa' Allah, i.e next Wednesday (June 6th) and drop our work here and I'll arrange it and collect it in a single file which we'll base our next week's work on.

I came to this post through Google, I see you're starting the translation process (or maybe done with it by now ) , anyway, We ( Arabic moderators of the official Joomla!
