With the new search engine on site you find nothing. The old one was much better. I spent over an hour now looking for something and still didnt found.

I agree, struggle myself to find anything meaningful anymore with this new search function!

Is there no more way to search the just the message board here, not using Google on the whole domain?

The FireBoard search engine has been replace with a Google powered one.

Maybe that was a joke or an experiment. It isn't there now.

I think one of the devs tried it.

It should be used as an OPTION. Not as a replacement.

Same here I rarely ever ask questions as I know the Standard answer around here is "SEARCH"... so I searched for a problem,, found the link to a thread.. but when I select it, instead of going to the original thread to get my info I get sent to that " all posts " or " All Discussions" forum template instead of staying in threaded view.. and my search is lost.

just out of curiosity,, what is that "All discussions" for.. a forum should look like this one in Categories mode,,,, no one wants to see a forum in " All Discussions" mode.

done ranting..... but back to the issue,,, the search feature here does little to help one find what they are looking for
