siteground templates 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
starting with Joomla 1.5, great, but finding a good template without spending money first... not so easy.
Currently I am playing with the free ones from siteground.
First of all it is pretty frustrating that I can not find documentation that these templates do not contain positions like user1, user2 and top...
I started with siteground-j15-4 but could not get a slideshow in the top header (which I had working through pure HTML and scripting).
Then I moved on to siteground-j15-4 (Primary Red), but I do not want the title in the image and in fact I want to customer the title with a real image (is pure red).
Any hints?

Thanks.

Hi,

thanks in advance.

The site can currently be reached at www.fcgullegem.be/joomla

I want to add an image in the upper banner and I need to find a place where sponsor logo's are shown (like a slide show, I was thinking on the right 200 pixels of the upper banner).
And I also want to get rid of the text in the banner (with the URL).

tx

make this ...
find the line with this source ...
div id="logo">www.fcgullegem.be /a> /div>

and make this :

div id="logo">
div style="float:left;"> img src="your_logo_image.gif" alt=""> /div>
div style="float:right;"> img src="your_sponsor_logo.gif" alt=""> /div>
div style="clear:both;">
/div>

good luck

This was a great help for me, thanks.

Please review the result at http://www.fcgullegem.be/nl/

Now the site does not show pretty on a resolution of 1280 width (or even 1024).
Therefore I can change the top images, but what I would like to happen to the body is that the left and right menu remain intact and the center content is reduced. Now the right menu disappears when the window is smaller.
Can you give me a hint on how to improve this in the template?
The border aroun might also be smaller.

thanks.
