Joomla 1.5 legacy, categories get lost 2 Months, 1 Week ago  
Each time I create a new category all categories get lost. It seems to be a bug but I couldn't find a solution anywhere though I searched a lot. Does anybody know anything?

backend: forum-administration: new category "xy": save; select "xy": new category "xyz": save: empty screen.

The same happened, when I tried to rename the example categories. I have tried it with many different configurations and even restored twice the whole joomla installation including root folder and database from my backup. The result is always the same. As far as I could find out this is a bug with Joomla 1.5 legacy mode.

can you overwrite this package over it and let me know if it works for you? (take backup of config file)

Wanting to publish the main category from my backend I get this now:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/web22/html/testsite/administrator/components/com_fireboard/admin.fireboard.php on line 474

And on top of the forum page in the frontend I see this:
/var/www/web22/html/testsite/components/com_fireboard/template/plugin/profilebox/profilebox.phpError: Cannot load plugin tpl = profilebox
Which means for example I cannot logout.

Hi Martin,

the fireboard 1.1a is searching in the wrong folder. Copy the folder " plugin " from
" /var/www/web22/html/testsite/components/com_fireboard/template/default/ "
to
" /var/www/web22/html/testsite/components/com_fireboard/template/ "

ok. I can logout again. But what I see now on top of the forum is this:
/var/www/web22/html/testsite/components/com_fireboard/template/plugin/profilebox/profilebox.php

And it is still impossible to create more categories than the main one.
