I don't understand.
According to this
Code:

"...we started to reshape Fireboard toward Joomla 1.5 native structure, in a way also not to break the compatibility with previous versions of Fireboard itself and also Joomla! 1.0.x version."
it's supposed to.

be patient.

Maybe a disclaimer should be added to the FireBoard news item saying the alpha is NOT currently compatible with J1.0.xx versions at this time.

A lot of people are going to be put off when they come to the realization that it doesnt work (currently) even if it IS just an alpha.

To help things along here is the error message I am getting on a blank page.

Code:

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'jpath' in W:wwwNew Testcomponentscom_fireboardlibrariesjoomlahtmlhtml.php on line 128

If this one has already been reported please just pass this over as I don't see a dedicated FB1.1 Alpha thread going yet.

I have another "Jfile" issue. I have done a complete installation of Fireboad 1.0.4 and I have overwritten the files as suggested and when I access the component in the backend I get the error message:

Code:

Fatal error: Class 'JToolBarHelper' not found in /homepages/3/d229978852/htdocs/lab/administrator/components/com_fireboard/toolbar.fireboard.php on line 17

I hope this could help.

I am using Joomla 1.0.15.

By the way, lots of thanks to the Fireboard team, I think you are doing a remarkable work.

It is not based on Joomla 1.5 framework, it looks like it. It is meant to be working with J1.0.x and not only J1.5. SO, if there is an error it is a bug.

Hey guys ...it's alpha, it's not even beta, not RC1, 2,3 ...I don't now why some of you are getting upset like it's some product you paid for in advance, a bit more positive attitude won't kill you

I can confirm though that it doesn't work on J1.0.X yet, I commented out those lines I got an error message for to get backend and front-end working, still back-end looked like 1.0.4 after that, and front-end template displayed some error text because it obviously missed some lines.

I did a clean install 1.0.4/overwrite with 1.1 on a test server and get a 500 in the administrative side, but the frontend is fine. Anyone point me to a solution?
