First off, please don't misunderstand what I'm about to say/suggest.
I'm a developer myself, and admire your hard work on FB. Especially since you are doing this for free.
What I am suggesting is based on something danialt said (can't remember which post) about some changes that where to be made in future releases of FB in its templateing system.
Correct if I'm wrong, but he said something about make it so it is less code in the templates.
And I am all for that, but there is one thing I wish where possible.
Could we make it so the template controls which js scripts loads in the header? I know you can do it already, but I think it's better to have all php customheader tags in one place. And that could also make it possible to create mootools friendly, or mootools driven themes with this approach.
I agree that less code in the templates are for the better, but I think the Joomla approach would be the best for that. y that I mean short handy tags for the code that no one wants to change, while js dependent parts could be changed.
I agree that there are many bugs that are more important to fix than create this future. But when the day comes when you get time to do something like this, many with me would prefer this solution than making a Mootools Fireboard fork.
Cheers ,
Stian
