There seems to be a bug within the forum. I use FB 1.03, and Joomla 1.5RC3.

not allways, but sometimes when I click the forum link, I get this error message:
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /host/c/a/n/cantonsen/caunivers/joomla1-5/includes/router.php on line 140

It usually happens when I click on the show my profile, and then try to click the forum link.

I hope this makes sense.

Registration issues with 1.5 and certain templates have been a recurring problem. Luckily, one where the solutions have for the most part been worked out. To help you I need a little more info.
1. Are you using the most current nightly build of 1.5?
2. What template are you using? (try using Beez and see if registration works. If it does I know the fix.)
3. Are new users able to register on the Joomla portion of the site?

If you would provide a link to your site I could try to register as a new user and see what's going on. You can take a look at my site to see how it is supposed to work. I'll tell you it took some doing to get Joomla and my template to work correctly. Fireboard worked fine after I got the other two in line. My site is http://alcoholicsanonymousonline.com Go to the Study Forum to see Fireboard and register as a new user from there. You can also register from the front page through Joomla and after activation and Login Fireboard lets you right in and does not require an additional login.

I've installed joomla 1.5.1 and FireBoard 1.0.4. I'm using this template - http://www.freecsstemplates.org/preview/newave.

My site - hopeis.org - but it's in Ukrainian language

I fell under 2nd case! Registration works fine under BEEZ template, but not with this one. What fix do you know?

Thanks in advance.

Re:Joomla 1.5 + Fireboard 1.04 - fb_msg1 module 4 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi I have
Joomla 1.5 with Fireboard 1.04.

I have installed adsense modules, and assigned one to fb_msg_1 and ensured it is published on "all" pages.

However, it will not display in any of the available fb_msg_x positions.

I am using the fireboard template major_tom_dark_orange2 but this isn't affecting the positions (tried with default too).

Does anyone have a patch? Thanks

Rachel.

Hello All,

Apologies if this is a repeat but I've spent a good hour scanning the forum for this and not found any solution.

The website I am referring to with FB can be found at: http://www.martialedge.net/forum/

After upgrading to 1.5 we have two problems

1) Threaded View Not Working!
If you click, "threaded view" in the forum at the top, it doesnt appear to work. This could be an SEF problem (we use SEF Advanced), any ideas?

1)Ugly dark boxes!
As you can see on some of the threads, on the left information bar inside a post there are some ugly greyish boxes appearing all over, any thoughts?

Many thanks in advance.

I get the same problem using Joomla 1.5 and Fireboard 1.0.4, when attempting to add an announcement I get a page that comes up saying Hacking attempt.

I have this same problem with adsense clicksafe, Joomla 1.5.1 and Fireboard 1.0.4. It seems that the problem is that the jdoc include is not parsed inside the Fireboard template. In fact, if you view source on a fireboard page, you can see the fb_msg_1 div and the jdoc include tag still intact inside the HTML.

I have tested this with beez, rhuk, and ja_purity all with the same results. If I add the fb_msg_1 module position into a non-fireboard template (like index.php), the ads show perfectly.
