So what do you suggest...

Hack 1.04 and wait until Fireboard implements private (groups) forums.
Or forget Fireboard and change to something else?

I don't want to do the second option but at this moment functionality is much more important to my website.

If I had more of an idea when or if Fireboard were going implement this feature it would help myself and many others

Can anyone please tell me how to add this feature separately

Added: mp3, right, left, center, justify, hide and hideurl buttons

All the hack are based on the guidances in the Forum. You should have a look on the code in fireboard.interpreter.inc.php. So, you easily find through Search function.

This is the guide in Vietnamese: luyenkim.net/home9/component/option,com_...665/catid,5/lang,vi/

You should change these files:
administrator/components/com_fireboard/language/vietnamese.php hoặc english.php
components/com_fireboard/template/default/smile.class.php
components/com_fireboard/sources/fb_bb.js.php
