How to get rid of the "Announcements" menu item 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago  
Which file and line do I go to in order to comment out the "Announcements" menu item which appears after I log into my forum?

NOTE: The problem I'm having with Announcements is when you try to post an announcement the javascript button to select the calendar date doesn't work. So, I'd rather just turn it off and get rid of the menu item as it's really not necessary for my forum.
