I had asked previously if a nice Help or FAQ existed for newbies but found nothing. Perhaps there is one somewhere but I didn't find it. I did come across helpful info from the bbcode Wiki and the phpBB website. For most of you redirecting your forum's 'Help' link to one of those websites might suffice.

For my community, I was noticing members didn't have basic experience in formatting their posts or adding images and links. So, I wrote a Help FAQ for forum newbies from scratch. It is lengthy but detailed, needs proofreading and some layout tweaks which I will address soon.

Here it is. If you like it then copy it, tweak it and do whatever you wish with it. I don't need any recognition for it as I wrote it to serve my community. Consider it my very little contribution to the Joomla! community from which I use so much free stuff.
