I thought I'd start this one up since the installation issues thread was getting quite convoluted.

Please report any 1.0.4 bugs in this thread. This is NOT the thread to report anything regarding upgrading or installation issues. If your's is one of those please post in this thread. This is also NOT the thread to report template issues-in particular the Numinu template. This is also not the thread to report integration issues with other components/modules like Community Builder or GroupJive.

Any issues NOT related to .4 bugs SPECIFICALLY will be DELETED without warning. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that any bugs reported here are NOT in the bugtracker already or they will also get deleted without warning. And lastly, no bumping threads.

1. wrong css-coding: change of font-size doesn't take effect

2. show latest posts not regarding the settings of the cb tab

3. session, session and again session - still not working correctly when new threads/answers are posted.

4. sometimes the quotation doesn't work

5. performance: there are tons of sql-queries when opening the forum or clicking on the latest post button - isn't there a possibility to decrease them?


I really apreciate the work of the guys behind fireboard and don't let me be missunderstood, but I would apreciate it even more if they would concentrate more on a stable version than on new features.

Choose "allow child group" for your forums in the forum manager.

Ok here is my list of bugs and i have to say i'm a bit disappointed to see 1.0.3 known bugs still there :

1: REGRESSION - Restricted board access is buggy, if i set access to restricted board to one person once then i can't remove him the access forever. This worked great under with 1.0.3 version so this is a regression

Found a Bug. After upgrading I could not change from main forum page to categories any more! Got a nearly blank page

Fix:

In file interpreter.fireboard.inc.php
Path : \components\com_fireboard\sources

change:

include_once("interpreter.bbcode.inc.php";

to:

include_once($mainframe->getCfg("absolute_path" .'/components/com_fireboard/sources/interpreter.bbcode.inc.php';

An everything works again!!! The error appeared on my WebService-Provider (Unix). No problem in my Windows test environment!

Think this should be fixed in the next release!

Found that the problem must be related to german tanslation and page coding. If I switch to UTF-8-Encoding the chars disapear

Here is the new bug!

I del a Topic / Thread sucessfully.
But the counter (Thread / Answer Counter) in the front, isn't set back.
I look in post.php, but in the code the database #_fb_categories is not coded.
So I must open the database and del it manuell.
I think this is a bug, isn't it?!

Scenario - User posts a thread - admin or a moderator replies everything ok - but when that user who posted the original post replies again in the same thread it shows under there avatar that they are admin or moderator. (the icon)

Any Ideas how to fix?

Reinstall of updated german language for fireboard fixed the problem
