I searched the forums and I guess the css must have changed since I cant find the codes that need to be changed. The descriptions under each forum topic is blending in with back ground and you have to highlight it in order to see it. What do I change so I change the text to black? Also where it shows total users and latest members that also blends in. They all need to be changed to black.

The problem seams to be that the site has a dark lyout with light texts. (In my case white text and yellow links)

The Firebord template (and I have tried several) seams to partly have it's own colours, partly rely on the site template. The result could be a problem since the templates on Best of Joomla often are made on sites with light background and dark text.

The one I use now is one of the better for my site. But there are problems in the footer.

I do not want to make my own template or invent new css files. Neither can I change the site template css since it effects a lot of other pages. I need a way to go around it. Like a Fireboard template that both control the forum background and the foreground. This means that the Forum has it's own setting of colours.

Do you have such a template?

Well, I found one working in English - the Numinu dark blue. The problem with this is that the templates not only control the layout, but also the functionality.
In the Numinu case I didn't figure out how to show a "category view" as default. It always start with a "all discussions" display. It is not controlled by the backend settings. It must be the template.

Finally I found a solution. There are dark templates not listed on "Best of Joomla". I found several dark templates more at http://demo.majors-welt.net/

There are several dark alternatives to "numinu", and they work in English.
