Cant upload templates 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago

Correct me if I`m wrong, but to get the templates in the Fireboard forum to work you need to upload it to the /template folder inside /com_fireboard right?
I cant upload anything in there. And I cant change the properties of the folder to written either. Anyone know what I`m doing wrong or what I have missed? Prett new to this aswell..

do you try over FTP right ?
what hoster you have --
do you have other PRoblem with Joomla like that

Sorry, forgot to write that. I use SmartFTP.
I currently use Aleo, based in Norway. Every setting for Joomla is fixed by them, so there should not be a hosting problem. I can upload files to other folders, just not the template folder for Fireboard..

Then have them set the permissions on that directory if you cannot. JoomlaXplorer might be able to do it.

Now it says "Unable to write entry" when trying to install JoomlaXplorer.. Whats happening with my site....
