Same problem here! Nothing seems to work. We are not computer experts but need to moderate and organise a simple forum that people can add new threads/topics/comments to. PLEASE someone help!and no jargon !

The only way we can get it to work is if we use a sample forum but that's not what we want. We're going to keep trying, and looking on this site.

Hi! I'm also interested in this issue.

Here is my client's forum: theresident.net/index.php?option=com_fir...=133&func=latest

I have it set that it shows All discussions. The client only wants 1 forum and no sub forums, so all threads go to General Discussion.

I want to be able to post a new thread directly to General Discussion from the Forum home page.
