Very nice update and pretty excited by the screen shots and what you are saying.

I agree with GM though. When you give zero feedback or communication, it leaves people feeling abandoned and looking for alternatives. Even an update saying we are alive and still working every once in a while would be enough some times.

I camed back today with the idea of if I did not see any news about development and a better server load in fireboard, I was dropping towel, and moving to some bridge...

I will wait patiently a bit more. Hope you best of luck.

But please, don't let us in darkness like this past times. You develop a forum, a tool designed for comunities, One would think you have interest on these. You have one here. Care for it.

Good luck! ETA please!

Guess we will not be able to upgrade from 1.04 or 1.1, so better wait right? Then some ETA is even more needed

Okkie Dokkie.

We are done with most of the code. Left parts are user profiles (70% done) and search caching. Then I will add the multiple upload and we should be done.

There are lot of changes so we will first release a 1.0.5 with bug fixes for 1.0.4- and then go for release cycle of Fireboard 2 (alpha, beta, ..). The database changes are alot but not dramatic, so upgrade should not be so difficult, though we will provide a clean path this time (as we will upgrade boj too)

Thanks for your answer danialt

So, as I haven't yet decided to install fireboard on the live site, your advice is to go with 1.04 and later upgrade, or better wait for a fresh new version install? how long you think it can be till this new version, would it be before september?

1 Picture says 1000s words.

still BOJ didn't post that one too....

But now I am very happy to see the process.

Please don't mind for my hard words.... I really like your products and always wait and suggest for new version.

Please post update news atleast once a week. I am not saying 'post when new version will launch' but any news on update process.

I suggest you not to spend to much time on user list, profiles and stuffs like that, because many of us use CB for that(or in my case I have custom developed components for those things). But we all need faster, bug free version with group control, working moderator options like move/split/merge, maybe polls...
