I would need some help on this one. I am primarily focusing on 1.0.15 as it is the most stable and currently best performing version of Joomla. If somebody comes up with a fix/solution for this we would be happy to include it into the 1.0.5 code base.

Helllo,

at first: Great work fxstein and co.!!!

One other think in latest 1.0.5 default EX:

The avatar in the category-view is not shown (in combination with cb). The fix is here.

Could you insert that in the latest code, please.

Thanks.

Best wishes,

Roland

Guys,

Thx a lot for all the input. As soon as I have finished the database configuration for 1.0.5+ I will see what I can do for those bugs.

I've recently just installed the latest 1.0.5.

I'm still noticing a bug. Perhaps it's a bug with CB and not with FB?

I've noticed that no matter how I have the thread viewing options set in my profile, posts are always showing up in newest order.

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm trying to determine if it's a FB or a CB issue.

I'm guessing it's already been posted, but it appears that the BadWord issue has not been fixed (link and link). Perhaps there's an easier way to allow for badword filtering than relying on another component?

Also, it appears as if the following icons have been left out of the build:

template/default/images/english/icons/tlatest.gif

Also, I'm getting a hacking attempt error when trying to move ANY thread.

Any ideas?

Yes I saw that. In fact these files are NOT missing. If you unzip the com file you will see they are there AND they are in the fireboard.xml that tells Joomla to install them. You can also open them in a local unzipped dir and they are just fine. What baffles me is once Joomla installs the component, these files (and a few others) get corrupted. They are no longer valid gif files. I have been searching all day today and could not find root cause. It just does not make sense.

Anybody out there that has a clue what's going on here?

BTW I am doing my testing on Mac OSX with MAMP as my test server. What environment did you see the problem?

I can`t confirm the problem yet, everithing working fine.
I use Wamp as test, and a linux server for online site (seems to be php as cgi, but i don`t know yet)
Could it be a permission problem, ar a owner problem?

Nope has something todo with the zip compression level and gif files. I have been using zip level 9 compression with these install problems on certain platforms. I just did some test runs with compression level 3 and all works fine. Will change to that for now. Does not make a huge difference. At level 9 the com install package is 1MB, at level 3 it's 1.1MB.
