strange... what MySQL version do you use?

I moved data from MySQL 4.0 to 5.0 and reinstalled the update of com_fireboard_v1.0.5NB1_b148_2008-07-02

Everything works great now. Do not have any errors. Still testing it...

Hi I have a BIG problem with the latest SVN:
I can`t delete this shadow copy (that contains illegal caracters)
Code:

MOVED: Re:Jurca – Unica Solutie Pentru Lipova

And in XMAP the url is like
Code:

http://www.mysite.com/forum/76-stiri/256-moved-rejurca-â??-unica-solutie-pentru-lipova.html

and because of this GOOGLE doesn`t download this sitemap.
This is a general FB problem, because it allows "illegal" caracters in the title.
Illegal caracters:" - ", letters with diacritics etc

This does not work, can`t delete the shadow post.

_______________
I deleted the shadow post from the database via phpmyadmin

Sorry but this looks like a SEO components problem to me. Fireboard (none of the versions) create URLs like yours. In Fireboard it would be plain thread and post numbers, but no text. The text comes from your SEO module. I tried the very same thing with sh404SEF on my site and it works just fine. ANd without the SEO turned on, none of the text makes it into the URL anyway.

I guess we should officially require MySQL 5.x going forward. Don't have any 4.x versions available for testing any longer.

Hello,

Using J1.0.15
Php : 5.2.6
MySQL : 5.0

I'm having an odd problem.
In the recent posts, suddenly the posts and replies from 28 June till 06 July disappeared.

I'm using the revision 789 from SVN.

Any ideas?

The latest updates solved some other problems with Recent Posts like replies ( "Re:..." ) showing 0 visits.

Nobody?
I can provide a sql dump if you need it.

Can you elaborate? What is missing? Two specific posts or more? What category do they belong to? What are you comparing with?

BTW: These are some very 'expensive' database queries. Since there is no time limit, the SQL produced does those aggregations for all public threads (ONLY public) in the database and then limits the result to the latest X.

Hello

May you notice that Subsription emails do not work on that version ?
This is too bad

bye

Can you be more specific? They do work on my sites without any issues. The email code (other than its content) has not been changed from prior versions? Could this be an issue with your local test environment?

The Language File was missing some definitions so I added them these were missing definitions:

Code:

DEFINE('_EDIT_TITLE', 'Edit Personal Info');
DEFINE('_YOUR_NAME', 'Your Name:');
DEFINE('_EMAIL', 'Your Email:');
DEFINE('_PASS', 'Password:');
DEFINE('_VPASS', 'Retype Password:');

I'm also attaching the language file with the additions you can copy from here or use the language file.
File Attachment:
File Name: english-7eb06e4e9b2a3659c6a5b29bd8e5023c.zip
File Size: 24629

Sorry but these are NOT FireBoard constants. They are defined in Joomla for com_user. If you define them for FireBoard it will create warnings for duplicate definitions.

Why do you need them defined in the FireBoard language file? Need to understand if there is a real need to rename them all over FIreBaord and use private defines instead of the ones currently shared with Joomla.

Thx!

i cant install because there are files missing (changelog.txt, images, ..) so it breaks with a error message.

are there all files needed in developmentreleases1.0 ??

i do zip them and try to install...

I recommend you start using the nightly build and not the SVN. The SVN cannot be zipped up and installed through Joomla. A full installation package must be created. That is done as part of the nightly builds.

Local XAMP Server on Windows

When going to My Profile -> My Avtar you recieve a WARNING: Message

Code:

Warning: asort() expects parameter 1 to be array--in--myprofile_avatar_upload.php on line 627

and
Code:

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in---myprofile_avatar_upload.php on line 629

See The attached Image File

Can you explain in more detail? I tried selecting a default avatar and uploading a new one and both worked fine on my local MAMP server as well as on my site.
