TOPIC: Notification email link is incomplete
#53625
Notification email link is incomplete 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
Some how I changed something and now the notification emails that are being sent out only contain the last part of the link.

For instance, if my site is: www.-----.com/+++

It's only sending out the /index.php............

part of the links.

What might I have changed that would cause this?

I do have CB integrated. Would it have been something within it?

Are you running sh404SEF of another SEO component? If so, try turning it off to see it it creates the correct email.

Also I assume you have the correct site address in your Joomla configuration?

Somebody else had this similar problem before but I don't recall the fix.

I had that problem and and had sh404SEF installed... (and since I wasn't really using just experimenting with it) I turned it off and fix the problem...

uninstalled sh404SEF completely, and it seems to have fixed it. I had seo disabled in the general settings for Joomla but was still having the problem, which is why I didn't trace it back to sh404SEF.

Now that I've uninstalled sh404SEF, I've enabled SEO for URLs and everything appears to be fine!

Thanks! That's one issue marked off of the tracker!

If you had SEO turned off in the main settings but sh404SEF installed - the combination of both might have caused this.

I had to turn it off since se404SEF was causing some other problems. Maybe I'll look at reinstalling it in a bit to troubleshoot the issue further.
