It seems there is a serious compatibility issue between Joomfish 2.0 and Fireboard 1.0.4

When the Joomfish abstraction layer plugin is switched on Fireboard fails to work, generating the error message _PROBLEM_CREATING_PROFILE

The problem I have experienced is exactly as described here:

Several people have posted this both to bestofjoomla and to Joomfish forums, but there is no indication that a fix is in the pipeline.

I am working on a project where both multi language capability and a forum are key requirements, so does anyone know if there is likely to be a fix to this issue in the near future, or should I be looking at phpBB instead as used on joomla.org ?

I have upgraded JoomFish to 2.0 Beta2, now Fireboard and UddeIM works fine. But you have to disable the JoomFish Basic Router or you get a lot Header Errors.
