If it works with NB10 it will work with RC1. No code changes other than bug fixes.

i'm trying to update 1.0.4 to 1.0.5 (on J1.0.15), and i have installed the fbconverter, then uninstalled it, then uninstalled the fb component itself, and renamed (just in case) the dir components/com_fireboard so that i can install the new component. The problem is that i'm getting error when i try to install com_fireboard_v1.0.5RC1_b718_2008-09-04.zip

im tired of loooking for solution for the unicode characters problem
i know u guys are a bit busy getting the stable version alive .. but im sure some1 knows how to get my characters to show properly in different browsers ..
when i post in IE, the unicode characters get saved correctly and i can view it ..
but when browsing it in FireFox all i can see is ????????????????????????

and when i post in FF i get the same result ( being able to view it in FF and not in IE)

I have upgraded my fireboard from verion 1.0.4 to the new 1.0.5RC and it worked except for 3 minor problems.

- Photos being posted comes out with thick colored borders and same goes with the image signatures. I have tried using other templates and still came out the same.
- Forum width goes way out of my joomla template. Is there a way to get this on a fixed width?
- My discussbot does not work. I guess I will need to switch to Objectclarity's fb_discussbot.

My fireboard is now on the new 1.0.5RC version.
Im using the Dorona_brown forum template.
Running on Joomla 1.0.15

Any suggestions guys?

BTW, Great work on the new Fireboard guys...been waiting for this new version for months. Thanks and keep up the good work! More power to Fireboard!

I have the same problem with regards to the pictures posted which has thick black borders same with my signatures and also resizes it to a smaller size. Can I ask a fix for these?
