Help = SMF to FB, major user issues 1 Year, 5 Months ago

Wow, have I got some problems going on.
I tried the script to convert my SMF board to FB and it has been interesting. First, I had several error messages which turned out to be SQl conversion errors, particularly it seemed with how SMF renders an apostrophe.
After believing that I had that cleared up, I ran the conversion and everything indicated it was working fine. However, when I went to check the new forum, it appears that I lost about a month's worth of posts. Interestingly, when I go in to PHP My Admin and export the SMF messages table, the omissions seem to occur there even though they are still showing up in the actual, live SMF board.
Well, I figured I could work arond this and went to check my users. Somewhere in this conversion process, my user tables seem to have been screwed up. Previously, I was running SMF into Joomla with the bridge. Things seemed fine there.
Now, when a user goes to login to Joomla, they get a "username or password incorrect" message. If I try and go in to the user manager in the back end of Joomla and try and edit a user, I get an error essage with "this email is already registered, if you forgot your password..." This is when I try and change a password as the Joomla admin.
When I go in to PHP My Admin and look at the Joomla users, under password for every user except admin, it says "migrated." My Joomla user base did originate with my SMF install.
Any thoughts on how to get out of this mess?

Yes, you should restore your backup and wait for the official converter.
