Cheers for the update.

I have found 1 slight issue. If you have 2 forums with the same name (in different categories obviously) then OpenSEF gives them both the same SEF URL. The end result is you go to the first forum in the list.

I'm not sure if this is a fault of OpenSEF or this script, but for me the workaround was very easy....don't have 2 forums with the same name.

First bug I've found using OpenSEF w/the SEF_EXT. When using either the standard Discussion Bot or the XTD Discussion Bot, it is unable to create the first new post. If I turn off OpenSEF temporarily, make the first post and turn OpneSEF back on I can get it to work.

With OpenSEF on, I get re-directed to the correct forum category ID that I specificed in the markup, but the New Post dialog does not show up.

Hi,

I've got a problem with OpenSEF and Fireboard - after using the sef_ext.php and turning opensef ON - it translates everything very nice, however it's not possible to create a new post. When I click 'new post' I don't get a new post form.

It's the same issue few people noticed with joomlaboard and opensef: forum.j-prosolution.com/joomlaboard/1659...ext-php-ready-7.html

I've tried to use sef_ext.php posted in this thread, and urls are converted, it works. But there is problem with posting - I can't create new post, nor reply to post (thus quote/edit works fine). When trying post new/reply, form is not displayed at all. Any ideas what is wrong?

I'm running Joomla 1.0.12, OpenSEF 2.0.0-RC5_SP2, and Fireboard 1.0.0. I am using iosoft's sef_ext.php file and have no issues other than the one I just posted before your post. I can create new posts and reply to posts just fine. Since my issue is, at its core, with creating a new post, I wonder if they are somehow related.

I have Joomla 1.0.11 - maybe that's the case? My server configuration (hosting) shows 2 warnings:
# PHP register_globals setting is `ON` instead of `OFF`
# Joomla! RG_EMULATION setting is `ON` instead of `OFF` in file globals.php

can it be the issue?
