I"m not sure i follow you on the date as default value bit.
You want the default value for all the poll options 1 - 12 to be the current server date value?
why not store that once and just call it in a hidden form element?
I"m asking questions cuase i'm trying to complete the form today I really wanna see fireboard on the level of smf then vbulletin and remain free.

No no no, thats a TYPO 
Its just 'data', by mistake I typed 'date' 
Initially, I want to keep it simple.
After that we can make it more advance...... with suggestions from all of you.

I might find the time to make such a form in the comming day's.
Don't expect any miracles though, I'm relatively new to both php and sql, but up till now I've managed to work everything out, so I'm up for a new challange.
I'd say: get to your coding, and I'll try and fix you up with your form.

Before you start, send me a PM with your email.
I have a framework of the form ready, it just need some basic validation using JavaScript and very very basic php-mysql coding. No need to know about Joomla coding.....
