Please see below. I don't want my users to see this right? How can this be achieved?

I'm in community builder and I clicked on "Update your Profile".

you can unpublish or delete them in the field manager in CB..

you can also unpublish or delete the tab in the tab manager in CB..

I'm having the same issue - with different fields. however the actual fields arent even in my field manager.

I previous had CBE installed but went back to CB and I assume this is the problem.

Can I delete these fields from the bac-end files instead? If so which ones.

did you try to unpublish the _UE_FB_TABTITLE tab in the tab manager?..

my problem is in the Core _UE_CONTACT_INFO_HEADER

I'm getting fields that arent in my field list & I have no way of deleting them using the control panel.

IF you get weird tab names like "_UE_FB_TABTITLE" under "My profile", then you need to edit the CB language file:
If you want it in simple default english simply cut and paste this into your CB language file. Normally:
"components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/default_language.php"
