Hi!

Since the beginning of this project people wanted a real search feature like phpbb or SMF, the search feature that "we" have for me is...nothing! we almost take more time using the search feature to find something than going directly to the category and open each page to see where it is...

So the question is simple..is it so hard to do this?..for me this feature is one of the most important things in a forum...I know that other things must be done..but this one should be one of the first.

Is there some contribution addon with this feature? can some redesign the SMF search feature and adapt here?

Im sorry I dont know how to code..but I can help giving some money to get this done!..but not only for me..but for all the community..

The new version of fireboard (2.0) will have a real search feature, at least this is what danialt said. I guess in a few weeks an alpha version of fireboard 2.0 will be released, until then i guess you just have to wait

Yes, we are working on a search engine. Indeed that is our last feature left to implement.
