TOPIC: Subscription options

Subscription options 1 Year, 5 Months ago
Firstly, thanks for a great product. Fireboard is working towards being the perfect board for my site.

Secondly, is there any plans in the future to allow for an option in Community Builder (alongside the existing options) to allow a user to select whether he wants to be automatically subscribed to a topic when he replies to that topic.

So for example, if an option existed, and they chose that they DID want to be automatically subscribed to any topic they reply to, then the Subscribe box would be ticked by default. Or if they chose that they DID NOT want to be automatically subscribed to any topic they replied to, then the Subscribe box would be unticked by default.

And if that option existed, would it be possible to have the member subscribed by default?

This is already established between Community Builder and Fireboard. If you visit the admin panel of Fireboard you can set it so that users are automatically subscribed to threads once they post to it.

In Community Builder the built in plugin/tab will show that users subscriptions in fireboard.

What is it your trying to do other than that.

The problem is when I use is reading a thread and decides to click the nice red "subscribe" button. He is taken to a new page telling him/her that they have "subscribed". That's fine, But then the page reloads and takes you to the "FireBoard subscribe" menu. Bow if you have your site set up to use "Community builder" you don't want your users to see that "FireBoard subscribe" menu. What we are looking for is a way to stop tat 2nd page loading up the "FireBoard subscribe" menu. WE just want to skip that part of the processes.

Can this be done?
