Does anyone have a link or this file? I think it is what I need, my users will not come over with the older ones. Please? I am desperate to get it

I'm an SMF user and couldn't get a workable converter to migrate SMF to FB. I bit the bullet and installed PHPBB, converted my SMF to it, then ran the PHPBB to FB converter.

Worked like a charm.

Further to my success, I've found some 'quirks':

I started out with 3 Joomla users which were duplicated in SMF (and then PHPBB after the initial conversion). I successfully converted 141 Users and the conversion process matched up the duplicates between PHPBB and Joomla. I've found that when I try to send a mass e-mail using the Joomla Administrator, I get a message indicating that the e-mail was sent to 0 users.

Any ideas on how to get the mass mailer to work?

I had this problem.

Thats because, Those tables were created the first time u ran the script.
SO when u run it again it cant overwrite it. thats what is means by "Duplicate entry"


Your only option is to first Go in to PHPMYADMIN & Delete(drop) all tables that start with "jos' in your phpBB2 database.
Then Delete the joomla installation from your server & then reinstall.

There is no fully working copy on this forum! However, the one in the link above converts
Categories, posts, but not USERs. We are trying to fix it @ the moment.

Does anyone know of a way to convert PHPBB3 users, categories, and messsages into Fireboard?

What I want to know is, has anyone figured out how to export the above and import into Fireboard?
