About to have a crack at converting from SMF - Can you double check that link for com_smftofb please?
www.bestofjoomla.com/components/com_fire...iles/com_smftofb.zip is pointing to a 404 atm...

I see that the upload folder has been changed, so www.bestofjoomla.com/images/fbfiles/files/com_smftofb.zip is the new path...somebody can told this beforeEe!!!!

No problem m8, glad I could help...

Over the next few weeks I will likely be putting together a few tutorials on fireboard to help users get the most out of their forums, these will be based on my personal experience on how to get the board working on all cylinders.

In the meantime have a look at my install of fireboard to see the modifications in practice

HI! I got the same probleme...

I only have 6 smf users who also is smf users.... And when i converted it. only these 6 persons are converted into the fireboard. The rest is shown as visitors...
Does anyone know how to solve this probleme? I have checked up som ebridges if they could to the thing, but havent forunded the rught one yet.
Do anyone of you guys know how?

what version smf and fireboard are you using? Are the users synched with joomla already?

Joomla version 1.13

The thing i wonder how to was a sync from smf to joomla...

Which version of Fireboard are you using Don Piero??

If you have smf and joomla bridged at the moment you can synchronise the users using the bridge - I cant advise on this though as I dont have any of the smf bridges.

You need to have the smf users table imported into the joomla users table - check the faq of your bridge creator to figure out that one m8.

I tried to convert from smf to fireboard 1.03! Everything went well excpt of the users...

Do you have a clue on which bridge i can use to sync smf with joomla?
