Instead of running the entire script at once, try performing sql queries once at a time (copy & paste all the code until the first ';' and if you get the "duplicate things error" just ignore and move on to the next statement.

Please please read the beginners help...

You'll quickly find the answer in your language file ... just edit your english.php or whatever language you're using and use a search on the string... if not found, add it and give it a translation yourself

I also had a lot of problems upgrading my forum from 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 and solved the problem by using the 1.0.1 script like one of you said in the topic.

However, all my member are now Platinum adn when I try to quote someone, the code for the quote doesn't show... Stuff like " wrote" and [quote] is completely missing...

Can you please help?

Re:Upgrading from 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 Issues 1 Year ago
I have a copy of the installation manual on my hard disk.. I followed it EXACTLY as stated...

Let me point out a few things 1st..What has lead to so much confusion on people doing upgrades is the fact that if you installed before Fireboard 1.01 in admin it stated 1.00.

The installation instruction for upgrading only states to backup MySQL database.

It then states about updating Joomlaboard, but supposing you have already updated joomlaboard??

As I had done...

I followed the 3.2 upgrade from Fireboard 1.0.0

I have experienced all the errors that have been mentioned on this board, I spent the morning searching..I have run the Sql commands even though in the installation manual it mentioned nothing about that...

I have the error now about line 139. fb_pathway.php and have been trying to find the fix for this...

I only downloaded the update this morning, and the installation manual, This issue ( or your post was Re:Upgrading from 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 Issues 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago )

and you post did you read the instruction manual...

Maybe if you had updated the manaul it might have helped..
