I will wait until there is a easier way to update the fireboard.
I can't image that each time we need to manually go through 9 step to update the fireboard...

When I do a fresh install of fireboard 1.0.1 beta (I dont have an older version running) and the 1.0.1 stable will be released in july (hope there will no big delay ), do I still have to mass around with the manualy updating you are all talking about?

Perhaps someone know if their will be an easy update rutine for 1.0.1 stable?

BTW. I want to use Fireboard with CBE (not CB ) so Fireboard will use the avatars from CBE and will not loose them, right? So I will only loose attached files in the forum right? Because I dont want to use forum attachments an uninstall/reinstall upgrate wouldnt be a problem for me at all?

i love the board, but there are still sevral bugs.

- IE6 maby other versions as well and FF display the board differently (i use the joomla style)
- IE wont go back to tab 1 (latest posts)
- if i post a reply i get a very small box and if i submit it, it is shown on 3 different places and sometimes even with different names (2 man browsing)
- if i go directly to a topic from board index i get to see nothing.
- new replies get #0

however update from joomlaboard went perfect and very easy.

i love this Fireboard but this initial release is way too buggy. im abandoning it for the moment and awaiting better release soon. im still running joomlaboard at the mo.

It is just something that has to be worked thru until the most stable release is available.

Does anybody have any news on the stable release due for mid-july, since we are past mid-july already.
Not that i am complaining, not at all. I am so thankful for this great forum component, but i was just wondering if could have some "head's up" on the date of the first stable release by any chances.

if there is not in plan to release stable version soon i ll switch to smf... I am having this buggy forum which destroys my site for 2 months now...
