It's NOT an extension. It does not install. Where does it say that? You have to hack or modify some key files by following the instructions TO THE LETTER!

lets see if i am making any sense:
1. Racoon's hack can be used to play files from the providers and also any file from any website (just use [video type=...]http://...[/video]),
2. allvideos plugin can only be used to play files specified by the providers (such as youtube), and for instance, it can not be used to play a swf file hosted by a site that is not in their provider list

You are so spot on! Thats exactly how it feels around here at times.
After nights of fixing bugs you get a: "What? You couldn't document it better?"
Anyway thx to racoon's dedicated help we have fixed several more bugs this week AND included the video code. So going forward you won't need this hack any longer.
