I created some BBCode for Joomla! using a plugin, easy enough and really effective, but was somewhat saddened that it doesn't work on FireBoard, of course I want it to work on FireBoard, and I see FireBoard supports plugins (how you install them, I have no clue, I see nothing in the interface...).

So I'm interested, is it just an event I can add to my plugin to get it to act like a BBCode on the site? Do I need to write an entirely different plugin? Is there an available BBCode plugin written by someone else that I can reverse engineer to understand how FireBoard does things?

Sorry to tell you there is no plugin system for FB. Be prepared to do some FB core hacking.
