You know, there will be those who like it and don't like it which is ok because that's what freedom is all about. However... lol
It's been awhile since I was last here and when I entered today I was like..wait, am I at the right site or did someone else take over..? Nope, I realized Best of Joomla did a new design.
So, I have to say, and again everyone has their opinions, but being a web designer, I really feel that the original design was the better one because the colours (yes I spell it with the u) was far better and also had a better navigational layout. This new one has lost something I think, and has also affected the forum as well because the dorona brown template is a very good one.
I am sure there will be many who like the change and granted, it's good to do a change once and awhile, but sometimes when that is done, it doesn't necessarily mean its better.
It's a nice attempt Best of Joomla, but you may want to at least allow a user to access a "Template Changer" on the site for those of use who want the old one back, simply by changing it on the user end.
